There are so many things to look forward to at Mentor UMC this Lenten season. We’ll have a new sermon series, dinners, activities, and MORE!!! Look below to find all the fun.

Worship Services

Join us on Sunday mornings in-person or online for the sermon series “Dinners with Jesus” culminating in Holy Week services in April.

Ash Wednesday

Join us at MUMC on Wednesday, March 5th at 7:30 AM in the Chapel, 12 PM in the Chapel, and at 7:30 PM in the Sanctuary for Ash Wednesday services.

Lenten Cantata

Join us for the Cantata, “Blessed”, on Sunday, April 13th in-person and online during 11 AM Traditional Worship.

Palm Sunday

We’ll have Palm Sunday worship on April 13th in both services.

Maundy Thursday

Come to Fellowship Hall on Thursday, April 17th for Maundy Thursday service at 7:30 PM.

Good Friday

Good Friday service will be in the Sanctuary at 7:30 PM on Friday, April 18th. This year, Good Friday will feature a dramatic reading.

Easter Sunday

Join us in worship at 9 AM Modern & 11 AM Traditional for Easter Worship. We’ll gather in the Gallery for Fellowship Hour after services.

Events

Easter Egg Hunt

Meet us at Garfield Park on April 19th for the annual Easter Egg hunt put on by Children & Family ministries. We’ll begin at 10 AM. Volunteers welcome, please talk to Pastor Tammy.

Dinners with Jesus: Family, Feast & Fellowship

Join us on Wednesdays from 5:45 to 6:30 PM in the Gallery for dinner on March 12th, 19th, 26th, & April 2nd. After dinner, you may choose to stay for classes that you can register for below. To RSVP to dinner, click here.

Wednesday Classes

-Mentor UMC 101, 6:30-7:45 PM: A Class to learn more about the Christian faith, the United Methodist Church, and Mentor United Methodist Church with Pastor Steve.
-Dinners with Jesus, 6:30-7:45 PM: An opportunity to dig deeper into the scripture from Sunday’s message with Pastor Ivy.
-Families Together, 6:30-7:15 PM: Anyone with a child 18 and under is invited to join Mackalyn and Kate for an intergenerational experience exploring the scriptures from the previous Sunday’s sermon. (Youth Room & 112)
-The Other 12 Disciples, 6:30-7:45 PM The women participating in The Other 12 Disciples will be rehearsing with Pastor Tammy. (Fellowship Hall)
