Visit our YouTube Channel or click on the videos below to watch a Resurrection Moment from members and friends of Mentor UMC.
A “Resurrection Moment” is any moment—big or small—where something that felt dead, stuck, hopeless, or finished is suddenly met by God’s surprising, life-bringing power. It doesn’t have to be dramatic; it just needs to reveal the pattern of Easter: God brings life where no life seemed possible. A resurrection God moment is when God does in your life what He did at the tomb: He brings renewal, reversal, or unexpected hope in a place that looked sealed shut.

New Beginnings is more than a class—it’s an open invitation to explore faith, community, and belonging at Mentor United Methodist Church. Whether you are ready to join, still discerning, or simply curious, this is a safe and welcoming space to ask questions and discover what it means to be part of the Methodist tradition and our church family.
Upcoming Classes:

This class is designed for those who want clarity without pressure. It’s about starting fresh, finding your place, and experiencing the joy of community.
Together, we’ll explore:
• What is Methodism? Learn about the history, beliefs, and practices that shape our faith.
• What is membership? Understand the meaning of belonging, commitment, and shared discipleship.
• Why be a member? Discover how membership connects you to a community that supports,
encourages, and grows together in Christ.
At Mentor UMC, we believe New Beginnings are rooted in a life together where we:
• Love boldly by welcoming all people with grace and compassion
• Serve joyfully by sharing our gifts in ways that uplift and transform lives
• Lead courageously by living out our faith with hope and conviction
Whether you’re seeking connection, exploring your next step, or simply wondering what it means to belong, New Beginnings is your opportunity to grow deeper in faith and closer to God—while discovering a spiritual home that celebrates you as part of the family.
